Importing clients

There are two ways to import clients into OneLink, this article will explore both options. A client can be added manually or by importing a .CSV file. Please note, user permissions can affect the ability to import leads.

Adding a client manually

Adding a client manually is done inside of OneLink. This is best for adding one to a few clients. This is done one client at a time.

Click on "Clients" or whatever your company refers to clients as

Importing a .CSV File

An administrator account is needed in order to import data. If you are not an administrator in OneLink please reach out to your manager or OneLink administrator. Always check with your OneLink Administrator before making changes to the OneLink account.

Importing a .csv file is done inside of OneLink. This is a good option for importing many clients at once. It is very important to have the headers spelled correctly before importing and to stay within the character limit for each field.

Required Field headers

First_Name Last_Name Employee_ID Lead_Source_ID Business_Phone or Home_Phone or Mobile_Phone or Email
John Doe 2269 5 jdoe@insurance.com
