SMS Texting in OneLink
An administrator account is needed in order to access this information. If you are not an administrator in OneLink please reach out to your manager or OneLink administrator. Always check with your OneLink Administrator before making changes to the OneLink account.
OneLink supports sending and receiving sms text messages on the platform, however there are some prerequisites in order to enable this feature.
There are additional costs to this feature, please contact your account manager for more information regarding costs.
In order to send SMS text messages we need to acquire compliance for your phone numbers.
Please see the information below on what data we need from you in order to register for compliance.
What do we need?
- A filled out Business Stir/Shaken form: This Form is provided to the carrier in order to register your business. Please contact your account manager for this form.
- Proof of opt in process: In order to gain regulatory compliance the company needs to have proof on how users opt in to receive text messages. Example: A link to your website's contact us form that has a opt in check box to receive text messages
- Company Type: We need to select a company type. Please let us know which which company type below best fits your company
- Brand Type: When registering for the ability to send SMS text messages we need to establish your brand type. Please let us know which which brand type below best fits your company
- Campaign Type: When registering for the ability to send SMS text messages we need to establish your campaign type. Please let us know which campaign type below best fits your company
- Campaign Description: We need a description of the type of campaign you are setting up. For example: This campaign is to contact customers about renewals
- 3 Example messages: For compliance we need to have 3 example messages that you plan to send. Example: "Your quote is ready"

Non-US nonprofits and governments should register as a private or public company.

Brand Types:
"Sole Proprietor" $4 one-time fee
Recommended for customers sending fewer than 3,000 message segments per day to the US
"Low-volume standard" $4 one-time fee
Recommended for customers sending fewer than 6,000 message segments per day to the US (2,000 message segments per day to T-Mobile)
"Standard" $44 one-time fee
Recommended for customers sending messages at scale. Your daily limit may fall between 6,000 and 600,000 message segments per day to the US (2,000 - 200,000 per day to T-Mobile).
Campaign Types:
"Account Notifications" $10 per month
Messages related to account activity, such as notifications for password changes, balance updates, or other account-related alerts.
Example: “Your balance is $50. Your last transaction was $25.”
"Customer Care" $10 per month
Customer service messaging to help customers with inquiries, support, and account-related issues.
Example: “Hello, how can we assist you with your recent order?”
"Marketing" $10 per month
Promotional messages related to sales, offers, and general marketing communication.
Example: “20% off your next purchase! Use code SAVE20 at checkout.”
"Low Volume Mixed Use" $1.50 per month
This can be used for mix use but has lower trust score and lower throughput with carriers and may have higher messaging rates per carrier.
"Mix Use" $10 per month
This can be used for mix use but has lower trust score and lower throughput with carriers and may have higher messaging rates per carrier.
